North Carolina High School Basketball - Northern Guilford holds off Northwest Guilford

The Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings to 56 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Friday.

The Nighthawks now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Guilford for a 4A Metro game on Tuesday, February 4. Northern Guilford will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 50-46 league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Northwest Guilford falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Page (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Pirates in a 4A Metro game on Tuesday, February 4. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 8-12. Page won 60-33 in their recent league game against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
