North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek Charter trounced by Queen's Grant

The Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats basketball squad (Charlotte, NC), was crushed 74-12 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC)

With the victory, Queen's Grant advances its record to 13-4 on the year. The Stallions travel to Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC) to meet the Owls in a 1A Metro 8 battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Owls enter the battle with a record of 1-13. Valor Preparatory Academy lost 50-25 in their recent league battle against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carolina International for a 1A Metro 8 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Sugar Creek Charter will meet a Comets squad coming off a 55-13 league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Comets record now stands at 0-11.
