In Friday's league contest, the host St. Peter Saints basketball team scored a big 62-28 triumph over the Worthington Trojans.
The Saints (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Fairmont smashed Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN), 89-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Worthington will attempt to better on its 1-18 season record. The Wolfpack go into the contest with a 6-13 record after their 41-38 non-league win over West Lyon (Inwood, IA).
