Fans at Friday's league battle between the Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX) and the visiting Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX), saw Chaparral's soccer squad hold off Lake Belton by a count of 3-2.

The Bobcats (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against University (Waco, TX). The Trojans enter the 5A Region 2 District 16 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, University tipped Waco (Waco, TX), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Broncos battle the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 16 battle, on Friday, February 7. Lake Belton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 11-0 league win over Ellison (Killeen, TX).
