The Broncos (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Belton (Belton, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region 2 District 16 battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Belton tipped Ellison (Killeen, TX), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the University Trojans (Waco, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 16 battle, on Tuesday, February 25. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Waco (Waco, TX).
