The West Charlotte Lions basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Hopewell Titans to 48 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Mecklenburg for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. West Charlotte will confront a Sabres team coming off a 30-28 league loss to Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Hopewell falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Chambers (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Cougars in a game on Tuesday, February 4. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 7-9.
