New Mexico High School Basketball - Atrisco Heritage Academy tipped by Sandia

January 4, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87110

The Sandia Matadors basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars to 51 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Matadors now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Sandia will meet a Storm team coming off a 54-48 non-league win over Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 11-2.

The Jaguars (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Highland was nudged by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 54-48, in a non-league contest.
