In Wednesday's league outing, the Vilonia Eagles (Vilonia, AR) basketball squad beat the host Catholic Rockets (Little Rock, AR), by a margin of 62-45.
The Eagles (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Beebe (Beebe, AR). The Badgers go into the 5A Central outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Beebe defeated Palestine-Wheatley (Palestine, AR), 58-30, in a non-league outing.
The Rockets now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to ESTEM for a 5A Central outing on Saturday, January 7. Catholic will clash with a Mets squad coming off a 59-27 league loss to Maumelle (Maumelle, AR). The Mets record now stands at 6-10.
