In Wednesday's league outing, the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) basketball squad felled the host Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), by a margin of 87-69.
The Eagles (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Knights go into the AAAAAA Region 6 outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, River Ridge thwarted Banks County (Homer, GA), 75-50, in a non-league outing.
The Wolves now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Sequoyah for a AAAAAA Region 6 outing on Friday, January 6. Rome will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 71-44 league win over Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 8-6.
