Georgia High School Basketball - Rome knocked off by Etowah

The Etowah Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Rome Wolves to 56 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Ridge for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Etowah will battle a Knights team coming off a 60-58 non-league win over Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Knights record now stands at 20-6.
The Wolves (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 16-11 record. In their last contest, Sequoyah was defeated by River Ridge (Woodstock, GA), 60-58, in a non-league contest.
