California High School Basketball - Malibu overwhelmed by Fillmore

January 4, 2023: Fillmore, CA 93015

The Fillmore Flashes basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Malibu Sharks to 31 in the Flashes league victory on Wednesday.

The Flashes now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carpinteria for a Citrus Coast contest on Friday, January 6. Fillmore will battle a Warriors team coming off a 55-42 league loss to Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-12.

The Sharks (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA). The Raiders come into the Citrus Coast contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Channel Islands was routed by Nordhoff (Ojai, CA), 64-40, in a league contest.
