In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Independence Colts (Elko, NV) basketball squad edged the host Wells Leopards (Wells, NV), by a count of 42-37.
The Colts (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Owyhee (Owyhee, NV). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 9-0 record. In their last outing, Owyhee held off Sho-Ban (Fort Hall, ID), 62-41, in a non-league outing.
The Leopards now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Eureka for a 1A Eastern outing on Friday, January 6.
