With the victory, Jefferson Davis County improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars host St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS) to play the Fighting Irish in a 3A Region 8 challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Trojans play the Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS) in a 3A Region 8 challenge, on Saturday, January 7. West Marion will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
