The Cascade Christian Challengers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Rogue River Chieftains to 16 in the Challengers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Challengers now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookings-Harbor for a 3A Far West contest on Friday, January 6. Cascade Christian will meet a Bruins team coming off a 49-31 league win over North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Bruins record now stands at 5-5.

The Chieftains (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Honkers enter the 3A Far West contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Lakeview triumphed over Lost River (Merrill, OR), 69-15, in a non-league contest.
