The Rogue River Chieftains basketball team (Rogue River, OR), dropped 44-28 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR)

The Challengers now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookings-Harbor for a 3A Far West battle on Friday, February 3. Cascade Christian will battle a Bruins team coming off a 58-30 league win over North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Bruins record now stands at 12-8.

The Chieftains (1-18) will now prepare for their battle against St. Mary's (Medford, OR). The Crusaders come into the 3A Far West battle with a 2-16 record. In their last battle, St. Mary's dropped by North Valley (Grants Pass, OR), 43-35, in a league battle.
