The Milford Spartans basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Derryfield Cougars to 33 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon for a Division II contest on Friday, January 6. Milford will battle a Raiders team coming off a 60-40 league loss to Stark (Weare, NH). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH). The The Pride come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Merrimack Valley triumphed over Bishop Brady (Concord, NH), 52-32, in a league contest.
