The Derryfield Cougars basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Milford Spartans to 27 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingswood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Derryfield will battle a Knights team coming off a 42-40 league win over Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH). The Knights record now stands at 1-11.

The Spartans (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hanover (Hanover, NH). The Bears come into the Division II contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Hanover was defeated by Londonderry (Londonderry, NH), 49-44, in a league contest.
