The Washington Warriors basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles to 66 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riggs for a AA contest on Saturday, January 6. Washington will meet a Governors team coming off a 52-46 league win over Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Governors record now stands at 5-2.

The Golden Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Patriots come into the AA challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln was edged by Riggs (Pierre, SD), 52-46, in a league challenge.
