Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY) and the host Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), saw Adair County's basketball squad knock off Russell County by a tally of 70-56.

With the victory, Adair County improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Indians host McCreary Central (Stearns, KY) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-10.

Next up, the Lakers play the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a District 16 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Russell County will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record.
