In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Adair County Indians basketball team scored a good 77-67 triumph over the Russell County Lakers.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 17. Adair County will attempt to move on its 22-5 season record. The Lyons enter the match with a 24-3 record after their 73-70 non-league win over Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY).

With the defeat, Russell County moves to 13-13 on the year. The Lakers host Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to encounter the Maroons in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. The Maroons go into the test with a record of 18-8. Pulaski County won 62-58 in their recent non-league test against Boyle County (Danville, KY)
