In Thursday's league outing, the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting The Heights (Potomac, MD), by a margin of 88-61.

The Mustangs (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Panthers go into the VISAA Division I outing with a 11-1 record. In their last outing, Paul VI smashed Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD), 79-47, in a non-league outing.

The now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's Ryken for a Washington Catholic outing on Saturday, January 6. The Heights will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 70-54 league loss to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.
