North Carolina High School Basketball - Veritas Christian Academy thwarts Lake Lure Classical Academy

The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) basketball knocked off the host Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors (Lake Lure, NC), 64-52 in Thursday's league test.

The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Warriors go into the Western Piedmont test with a 5-6 record.

The Raptors now own a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to University Christian for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Lake Lure Classical Academy will encounter a Barracudas squad coming off a 34-22 non-league loss to Millers Creek Christian (Millers Creek, NC). The Barracudas record now stands at 0-5.
