The Reedsburg Beavers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host McFarland Spartans to 61 in the Beavers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Beavers now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portage for a Badger - Small contest on Saturday, January 6. Reedsburg will battle a Warriors team coming off a 81-52 league loss to Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.

The Spartans (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Evansville (Evansville, WI). The Blue Devils come into the Rock Valley - Rock contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Evansville was nudged by Platteville (Platteville, WI), 88-52, in a non-league contest.
