The Thornton Academy Trojans basketball team (Saco, ME), was overwhelmed 62-37 in Thursday's league battle with the host Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME)

The Red Storm now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gorham for a AA South battle on Saturday, January 6. Scarborough will battle a Rams team coming off a 84-55 league win over Sanford (Sanford, ME). The Rams record now stands at 7-1.

The Trojans (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots come into the AA South battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, South Portland was overwhelmed by Deering (Portland, ME), 57-47, in a league battle.
