Ohio High School Basketball - Athens thwarts Vinton County

The Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), 59-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Bulldogs (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Lancaster (Lancaster, OH). The Golden Gales go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Lancaster went down by Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH), 80-56, in a league test.
