Ohio High School Basketball - Vinton County trounced by Athens

The Athens Bulldogs routed the host Vinton County Vikings basketball team by a final score of 62-41 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Wellston Golden Rockets (Wellston, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio game, on Thursday, February 8. Athens will attempt to move on its 17-4 season record. The Golden Rockets enter the game with a 9-12 record after their 52-49 league win over Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH).
