Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blacksher Bulldogs (Uriah, AL), 56-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarke County upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Shields (Beatrice, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Shields won 52-27 in their recent league bout against Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Elberta Warriors (Elberta, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Blacksher will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 37-22 non-league loss to West St. John (Edgard, LA).
