The Spiro Bulldogs basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Keys Cougars to 45 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eufaula for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Spiro will meet a Ironheads team coming off a 59-21 non-league win over Wilburton (Wilburton, OK). The Ironheads record now stands at 6-2.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wilburton (Wilburton, OK). The Diggers enter the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Wilburton was nudged by Eufaula (Eufaula, OK), 59-21, in a non-league contest.
