Spiro Bulldogs (Spiro, OK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Keys Cougars (Park Hill, OK), 52-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spiro upgrades its record to 21-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Roland (Roland, OK) to play the Rangers in a NOAA bout on Saturday, February 24. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Roland won 58-34 in their recent non-league bout against Heavener (Heavener, OK)

Next up, the Cougars play the Westville Yellowjackets (Westville, OK) in a Big Eight bout, on Friday, February 23. Keys will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 42-38 non-league loss to Heavener (Heavener, OK).
