The Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers basketball team (New Ulm, MN), was overwhelmed 76-52 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN)
The Knights now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sibley East for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. St. Mary's will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 71-33 league loss to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-4.
The Chargers (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Rabbits come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Wabasso trounced Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN), 45-28, in a league battle.
