The St. Mary's Knights basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers to 22 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart for a A Section 2 contest on Friday, February 9. St. Mary's will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 68-40 league win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-3.
The Chargers (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Rabbits enter the non-league contest with a 5-17 record. In their last contest, Wabasso triumphed over Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN), 48-40, in a league contest.
