The Knights now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Marcos de Niza for a 4A Desert Sky bout on Tuesday, January 7. St. Mary's will play a Padres team coming off a 75-60 non-league loss to Tempe (Tempe, AZ). The Padres record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Brophy College Prep falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Vikings in a 6A Central bout on Wednesday, January 8. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Sunnyslope won 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against Christ the King (Middle Village, NY)
