In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Stevens Raiders basketball team scored a big 48-26 triumph over the Rapid City Central Cobblers.

The Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas (Box Elder, SD). The Patriots go into the AA contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Douglas smashed Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD), 56-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cobblers battle the Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD) in a AA contest, on Friday, January 10. Rapid City Central will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 68-63 league loss to Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD).
