The Trion Bulldogs basketball squad (Trion, GA), was crushed 59-16 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA)
With the victory, Model advances its record to 11-3 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Pepperell (Lindale, GA) to meet the Dragons in a A D1 Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Dragons enter the battle with a record of 5-11. Pepperell lost 59-44 in their recent non-league battle against Coosa (Rome, GA)
The Bulldogs now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a A D2 Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 7.
