The Perkiomen Valley Vikings basketball squad (Collegeville, PA), was nudged 39-34 in Saturday's league battle with the host Spring-Ford Rams (Royersford, PA)

With the victory, Spring-Ford advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Rams host Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) to meet the in a battle on Tuesday, January 7. The enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Pope John Paul II won 37-14 in their recent league battle against Norristown (Norristown, PA)

The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norristown for a non-league battle on Monday, January 13.
