Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wright Tech Warriors (Stamford, CT), 78-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Darien upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Blue Wave travel to Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to play the Bears in a Fairfield County bout on Saturday, January 8. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Norwalk lost 71-64 in their recent league bout against Warde (Fairfield, CT)

Next up, the Warriors play the Wilcox RVT Indians (Meriden, CT) in a Connecticut Technical - South bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Wright Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
