The Clarke County Eagles basketball team (Berryville, VA), was toppled 54-46 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Central Falcons (Woodstock, VA)
The Falcons now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren County for a Northwestern battle on Saturday, January 8. Central will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 52-31 league loss to Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-7.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The come into the Bull Run battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Rappahannock County was toppled by Page County (Shenandoah, VA), 49-44, in a league battle.
