Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Anderson upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Cubs travel to Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-14. Los Molinos lost 47-20 in their recent non-league bout against Corning (Corning, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 62-41 non-league loss to Orland (Orland, CA).
