The Anderson Cubs basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Central Valley Falcons to 34 in the Cubs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cubs now sport a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Prep for a Northern contest on Friday, February 10. Anderson will battle a Panthers team coming off a 65-38 league win over Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 15-12.

The Falcons (4-21) will now prepare for their contest against Yreka (Yreka, CA). The Miners enter the Northern contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Yreka was routed by West Valley (Cottonwood, CA), 53-31, in a league contest.
