Alabama High School Basketball - Fruitdale can't hold off Millry

The Millry Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Fruitdale Pirates to 44 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sweet Water for a 1A Area 4 contest on Friday, January 6.
The Pirates (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Southern Choctaw nudged Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL), 66-36, in a non-league contest.
