The Lewiston-Altura Cardinals basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons to 74 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cotter/Hope Lutheran/Meinke HomeSchool for a AA Section 1 contest on Friday, January 6. Lewiston-Altura will meet a team coming off a 43-37 non-league win over Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI). The record now stands at 4-5.

The Falcons (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Caledonia was nudged by Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA), 80-71, in a non-league contest.
