In Thursday's non-league outing, the Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN), by a margin of 64-41.

The Chiefs (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Cherokees go into the 3A District 5 outing with a 6-9 record.

The Redskins now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tellico Plains for a 2A District 3 outing on Friday, January 6. Loudon will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 66-53 non-league loss to Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN). The Bears record now stands at 4-7.
