Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN), 61-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sequoyah upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Chiefs host McMinn County (Athens, TN) to play the Cherokees in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Cherokees go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Redskins play the Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Loudon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-49 non-league loss to Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN).
