New Mexico High School Basketball - McCurdy knocked off by Mesa Vista

The Mesa Vista Trojans basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting McCurdy Bobcats to 58 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dulce for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Mesa Vista will battle a Hawks team coming off a 67-59 non-league win over Penasco (Penasco, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 8-6.

The Bobcats (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Laguna Acoma was defeated by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 73-31, in a non-league contest.
