Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) and the host Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA), saw Lake Braddock's basketball squad knock off Alexandria City by a count of 50-32.

With the victory, Lake Braddock upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bruins host Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a District 4 challenge on Monday, January 9. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Woodson lost 40-38 in their recent league challenge against West Springfield (Springfield, VA)

Next up, the Titans play the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 7. Alexandria City will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 36-8 non-league win over Bard (Washington, DC).
