Virginia High School Basketball - Alexandria City can't hold off Lake Braddock

The Lake Braddock Bruins basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Alexandria City Titans to 59 in the Bruins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bruins now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Potomac for a District 4 contest on Wednesday, February 15. Lake Braddock will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 50-23 league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 16-7.

The Titans (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms enter the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Annandale was nudged by Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA), 57-35, in a league outing.
