The Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets basketball team (St. Albans, VT), was nudged 51-48 in Thursday's league battle with the host Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT)
The Green Knights now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Champlain Valley Union for a Metro battle on Friday, January 6. Rice Memorial will battle a Redhawks team coming off a 50-18 non-league win over South Burlington (South Burlington, VT). The Redhawks record now stands at 7-0.
The Bobwhites/Comets (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets come into the Metro battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Essex was nudged by Burlington (Burlington, VT), 56-41, in a league battle.
