The Chesapeake Panthers basketball squad scored 39 points and restricted the visiting South Point Pointers to 26 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

With the victory, Chesapeake upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Trimble (Glouster, OH) to play the Tomcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Tomcats come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Trimble lost 55-38 in their recent non-league bout against Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH)

Next up, the Pointers play the Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. South Point will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
