The Chesapeake Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host South Point Pointers to 38 in the Panthers league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Hill for a Ohio Valley contest on Thursday, December 1. Chesapeake will battle a Redmen team coming off a 63-25 league win over Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 1-1.

The Pointers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Dragons enter the Ohio Valley contest with a 2-0 record.
