Alabama High School Basketball - Oakman knocked off by Fayette County

The Fayette County Tigers basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Oakman Wildcats to 21 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Fayette County will battle a Rams team coming off a 31-26 league win over American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
The Wildcats (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Area 10 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Carbon Hill ran past Dora (Dora, AL), 39-32, in a non-league contest.
